1st Annual Tailgate Dinner, Friday, Oct. 17, 2008

This is not a booster event, it is a BHS Foundation event but as a courtesy to the hard working group, I offered to help get the word out! If you are interested in lending a hand please contact Cyndi Novak (Foundation President) at 322-7723. She is the only person that knows the volunteer needs. Details about the evening's events will be posted soon. The band will be performing at this first ever tailgater, so please plan on coming hungry and enjoy fresh BBQ from the Meat Market, great music, and more.

STUDENT ACCOUNTS  - For detailed info such as account balances or other financial concerns, please contact either Karen Conrad, or Mr. Luna-whomever is appropriate to your need. Mr. Luna can give you info regarding any checks you have written to BHS Foundation, and Karen can give you some info regarding your fundraising account. Statements are available - you just need to request them. On Sept. 18 we were informed that the "old" boosters have sent every family a statement "within the past couple of weeks". If you haven't received yours yet, contact Suzie. 

Also, you can attend the general meetings each month to bring up general questions or comments about any concerns you may have about your accounts, or anything band or fundraising related. As for any fundraising done prior to the start of this school year, you will need to contact Suzie Holdridge about having that "old" account balance transferred to the "new" account that was started at the beginning of the 2008-2009 school year. If you're still not clear on how to handle transferring funds, then ask Karen Conrad, Julie Butler or Mr. Luna.
